  • Creating Docker images with .NET Core debugging. Visual Studio 2017 debug configuration for docker is not good.  James Pansarasa present how to setup the docker file to compile for DEBUG or RELEASE mode.

  • I've got a secret (and I don't even know what it is). Bob Crowley showed the different way to store password, secret and certificates out of the source control. Azure Key Vault + Web App running in an Azure App Service make a great combination with little configuration.
  • Securing Web APIs from JavaScript/SPA Applications. Brock Allen made a good introduction to OpenID Connect,  OAuth 2.0, Cross site scripting, Cross-site request forgery.

    Brock wrote a certified library for SPA, see slide.
  • The Great MiniBar Challenge: MixoLogy, presented a first attempt to use to use Machine learning, TensorFlow, Python, kaggle.com on the back end, on the mobile side NativeScript-Vue. The Progress company offer infrastructure, to build your app for iPhone.
